The image above is a 2 layer panoramic image shot with the Inspire 1. There are a total of about 12 images stitched together here, six images make up the top layer, then I panned down and shot another 6 for the lower layer. I have shot some huge grid work panoramic images using a tripod with a geared head, but this is the first one from a RC helicopter. I am quite happy that the Inspire 1's lens is not as wide angled as the Phantom 2 Vision + lens.

Have Fun,
Chuggie

Great image - what did you use to stitch them together?

Great job with the photo. Looks seamless.

Fantastic job!
I wish I had of thought of doing that while I was 40km into the middle of the Rocky Mountains!
Great "inspiration" to give something simliar a go in my own neck of the woods

Really fantastic. Now I'll have that in the back of my head next time I'm in similar country! Thanks.

Nice job Chuggie! I've been following you from the Phantom Forum days...it's great to see you upgraded the Vision. I've even thought about moving to Buffalo, WY but...Holy Beelzebub's Colostomy Bag!! does it ever get cold there!
