Greetings all,

There is a tremendous amount of knowledge here, and as community, it would be really great to develop an app to help new and veteran pilots with a checklist.

I have no clue how to develop an app, but I do believe I could be of assistance in the content. I am sure there are many others who have a lot more experience than I do in piloting quadcopters, and it would be great to gather this wealth of knowledge and consolidate this information into a checklist.

Any and all input welcome.

Would be useful. Such an app would be great if the checklist could be modified for different multirotors and then output as PDFs for people who fly their birds for commercial reasons.

Copy/paste and make one up, Sadly my checklist is in my head at this point, but I do keep a little foldy thingy I constructed in my case in the event I need it. An app would be nice too though

Great comprehensive list so far well done

This is what I use to create my check list https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/fast-lists-checklists-for/id481282554?mt=8

You can customise it for any requirement with sub categories and tick boxes etc.

Create and edit checklists and most importantly tick off completed items. It is great for reusable and easily editable checklists to make sure you don't forget anything. Lists that you want again and again are the real focus.

What would be pretty cool, is if the app could announce the checklist item, and the pilot could respond audibly...ie challenge and response.

Im not a developer but i talk with some on forums and such, i hear the SIRI is possibly going to have a API released that will allow app access (RUMOR) but then you could use siri to do the Voice control and, and just interpret the data to auto complete a cmd to check off by name to complete, Maybe it will allow siri to answer as well? like siri could say "Check" Total crap shoot rumor but that would be awesome voice feature. If your phone or ipad is plugged into your inspires remote you could have the app have siri total hands free. when iphone is plugged in you can say "hey siri" she will auto answer. you can then start the checklist app and go through it and maybe if the siri api allows switch between apps with her ( to allow check list and DJI App) and then as you have your remote next to you as you build the inspire from your case you can individually check off the steps till the form is complete. then when form is complete siri could say "READY TO FLY". but hey that's all speculation :) and hopes :)lol

Here's mine. Made it small enough to print double sided on paper the size of a business card. I then laminated it and keep it in my wallet. For me, the best checklist is the one you use. Since it's almost always with me (in my wallet) I regularly use it. Before I just had a sheet of paper and rarely remembered to take it when I would fly.

Thanks for this link Photo Elevate.

I've been looking at checklist apps for sometime, seeking one that you can import to and perform cutting and pasting. So far, none that I have looked at will do this. I refuse to sit and type in word for word only to have to start completely over if ANY change is needed.

I purchased the Audio CoPilot app and it works quit well. Talking is fr better than typing, and it is editable to some extent. I like it.
