New inspire1

Hey, now that I have a inspire 1, I need to start exploring options for other cameras, it came with the z3 zoom camera and updated fumble support, does that allow me to use a x5 camera if I was to find one? Also it appears that the x3 camera that is attached to the OSMO handheld would work as well, is that correct?

I took my X5 off of my Osmo and it fit right on my I1 . Just make sure the firmware is updated. (it was 4 years ago)

To use the X5 you will need the larger camera mounting plate and leg extensions
The black OSMO X3 will not work on the Inspire but the OSMO can use the Inspire X3 camera

My X5 gimbal works with OSMO pro. Not an excellent combo but gets the job done (my opinion)

It's been my experience that the X5 is more firmware-friendly than the X3. On my personal Inspire I have successfully used 3 different X5's, all with different firmware. The X3 may be just as friendly, but since I use my X3 to manipulate my Inspire 1 firmware, their firmwares always match.

I run firmware v1.08.xx on all my Inspire 1's, which are flown weekly.

My inspire came with the larger gimble support, I will need to see what legs it has. Thanks for the info. Had two flights so far. No issues yet.

Do you have little extensions on the legs? You need those for the X5. You can tell by looking at it. The extensions stick on the bottom.

Yup, they are there as well.
