New Owner..

Hi all!! New owner and first time caller here. I've been doing a lot of reading on here for the last couple of weeks in anticipation of my new bird.

I would like to thank everyone for all the great information and community support that is available in the forum it's invaluable!!

Just one quick question. If a bird has 1.2 firmware can it be updated right to 1.5 or do you have to do each one 1.2-3-4 and then 1.5 I know the RC can be upgraded to 1.3 via the usb and after that it's done with dji go.

Found it over on the dji forum.

You can go straight from 1.2 to 1.5 but can only downgrade to 1.4

Go through all the firmware steps. I made the mistake of jumping to far ahead. Take your time.

It arrived today with 1.3 installed on both the I1 and rc.

Formatted the SD and upgraded the I1 to 1.5 first and then did the rc with the go app to 1.5.. Then did the imu, compass and stick calibrations

I had no issues at all.. Been flying on the sim ever since.
