Olympus Zukio 12 mm FOV

Hi,

For some of my work I need a wider Field Of View than the standard DJI 15mm lens. What is the FOV for the Olympus 12mm? Can't seem to find it in the on-line literature - or perhaps I'm being lazy.

My Phantom Vision 2 plus has a FOV 0f 140, and I'd like something a lot closer to that.

If you want a FOV close to 140 on the X5 series, you're going to have to work hard to get there.
Seen a few 7mm lenses for micro 4/3 but whether they work on the X5 is another thing.

Unless you've got the X5R dividing that measly 60 MBPS @4k bit-rate across such a high FOV isn't going to look great. Its likely to be very flat too as pretty much all wide angle lenses are from my limited experience of using them.

Buy the 12mm and fly higher or further away from your subject!
In most cases 24-28mm is a sweet spot for most aerial video, so maybe its time to change.

The reason I want it is to create map mosaics, but flying below 400 feet the field of view is so narrow that I need so many photos that it all becomes unwieldy. Takes so long to upload to maps made easy...

Difficult conundrum...
