I tried my Osmo on the DJI bike mount earlier this week and was disappointed with the performance as the sunlight shines in and out of the trees in the woods on my video:

Is this normal behaviour and is there anything that can be done to reduce this effect?

Cheers,

Nick

Id be curious to know how to solve that too. I actually like the aesthetic but you want to have the choice right? I've never used a hood my that's my first guess. Maybe a couple of degrees tilt downwards too.

It does a good job of stabilising but there is some slight small fast shake sometimes.

Lens flare! Sunlight is hitting the lens giving a milky flare. Protect the lens from sunlight with black gaffer tape and the flare will disappear.
