We work across the US and on occasion projects in Africa and the Middle East.

Fine. I've no desire to go to any of these countries. All too hot and too many guns.

We work across the US and on occasion projects in Africa and the Middle East.

Wow. Them are global hot spots.

I don't want to start any drama but I have to say good luck on finding candidates for those areas at the pay rate you offer.

Understood. Thank you for your interest. FYI currently our overseas contracts are in S. Africa. Not quite a hot spot unless you mean the temp :)

Hmmm....whilst I have the requisite skills and regularly undertake and complete all of your duties and knowledge listings etc. I am CAA authorised and not FAA
However, I feel your dollar rate would need to be hourly and not daily to garner sensible interest.

I'm out!

I approve his comment. Again not to rain on anyone's parade but just want to give some constructive criticism.

The $450/day for operating a sUAS in a different soil is unfortunately way way too low. I earn the same amount teaching motorcycle to students for 10 hours and it is in a more fun, but tiring, environment. Being in a global hot spot or not the travel expense, living and working condition, plus the ungodly requirements just to be a viable candidate is not cost effective either way you look at it. Also forgot to the addition of benefits such as medical, dental, 401K etc. Though this seems like a contract position which is basically a 1099 so basically the candidate/contractor are on their own.

I agree that this position should be at an hourly rate which includes a comprehensive benefits package as opposed to a 1099 contractor.

Again many thanks for your reply. Appreciate the constructive criticism. We were aiming for entry level candidates interested in UAV work at first as many of the positions for the first few months would be training and familiarization with the contracts they are working. As with any position with longevity comes reward and as someone whom in my previous endeavor had a less than 10% turnover of employees in an industry with 60% turnover on an annual basis, I can promise it was because my employees were amongst the best looked after in their respective fields. To start these positions may include commercial shoots, real estate, aerial survey etc as photos and co pilots. Pilots that choose contract work will be compensated accordingly based on a percentage of the contract net, while pilots that choose to become a full time member of our team will be entitled to an appropriate benefit package and salary upon completion of a standard probationary period.

OK, many thanks for your offer and additional info.
I hope we have not come across as too 'agressive' on the forum?

I will leave this thread up here and would advise any members who might be interested to get in touch with the OP via PM and go from there. :)
