Pix4d mapper photos not square with flight lines

Recently, the photos taken with my I1 X5 have been rotated about 45 degrees from from perpendicular to the flight lines as flown with Pix4d Mapper. For some reason the gimbal rotates from the "straight ahead" position as soon as I hit the take off button in Pix4d. I have done the gimbal calibration in DJI Go, and the gimbal operates normally until I launch Pix4d on my IOS ipad or iphone. Pix4d overrides any attempt to straighten the gimbal with DJI Go, even if both apps are running concurrently.

This rotated condition reduces the overlap of the photos, making them much less valuable for mapping projects.

Does anyone know what is causing this?

After some testing, I found that the out of square problem does not occur with the Maps Made Easy App. The Pix4d app still causes the problem.
