What Post Production software are I1 owners using? Pros/Cons?

What is best for Photo or Video or both! Anyone have good method for pulling stills from video?

My business partner who edits pretty much everything we do cuts only on avid. Would not recommend for a beginner. If you're doing this for a hobby, check Adobe premiere elements. To extract photos in most edit programs, mark an in/out on the frame you want and export as jpg.
