See the above Screenshot of a representative Airdata Rudder Response Page for my I2. Regardless of state of the propellers’ condition (tried several sets), winds, thermals, etc; Airdata consistently reports serious rudder response issues with the I2. The booms are solid and the motor mounts are even and immobile. Visually the AC seems totally responsive and stable. My P3P, Mavic and Spark all get reported in the very low green areas so I’m convinced it’s not an Airdata issue.
I’m open to any suggestions or explanations.
Seems to me to be an Airdata issue with interpreting the readings, I've always had Airdata show poor rudder response readings with my I2 and I just ignore that part of Its screens now... Aircraft flies and handles perfectly fine.
Thanks Nick. I was a little nervous it might indicate a motor mount alignment issue but I just got it back from a full inspection and repair of an unrelated manufacturing issue and there was no problem noted by the techs at CloudCity. I figure they would have noticed any issue during their test flight.
There is a setting for the camera that limits the sensitivity of the yaw and it turned up it will be almost no yaw control at all. Check those settings in the app
