TB48 (5700mAh) Battery - BROKEN

I crashed my Inspire 1 and this TB48 (5700mah) was the main casualty.
The top popped off, breaking one of the tabs off (clearly pictured), slightly cracking the side holder but NOT the battery (also pictured clearly) and the button no longer works to power it on. The top snaps on tightly still, and I know there is a RC genius out there who can make this $200 battery work. Unfortunately I don't have those skills.

Did you try popping the board out and testing the little tiny power button? Does that work? Any wires loose? I am just wondering as I think mailing a damaged lip may be a poor choice.
