Hi guys,
i'm searching new way to have an "easy" survey, in order to remove (as far as possible) leica ground station for taking GCP with gps tagged.
Topodrone (swiss made, topodrone.org) offer a good midway solutions, Dji X4S, with ppk installed.
Could be a good choiche use X4S, only 1 inch for taking survey, despite mechanical vs electrical shutter could be better. (we need details inside survey, we work ussually with 5mm details. )
we usually use for aerial dji X5S (4/3sensor) and canon 5d MK IV for ground.
any suggestion is appreciate.
thanks
bruno

Hi Philz, thanks for your interesting.
We are professional studio that works on aerial survey.
At now, aerial workflow need to measure GCP target with a Leica GPS station , in order to aquiring a precise GPS position to re set gcp value inside metashape, or anything else,
Gps coordinates acquired with drone, M210 V2, is not so accurate (location is out about 10 meters. )
So, when you're working on buildings, need to put GCP on structure, maybe 20s, 30s, and working to acquiring gps signal for each one.
We found topodrone inside web, that works on a DJI X4s paired with PPK antenna. (in fact works also on sony RIII Full Frame, but cost it more high, 7000 EUR)
With a personal software installed, topodrone promise that no need to acquiring GCP.
we are discussing with our team , and topographer squeeze many doubt.
Are resolution of X4s and sensor a good choiche? (noe we work with micro 4/3 and full frame on ground acq)
Precision of our model is about 5mm from real.
thanks
bruno
