UK Needs to take a Quiz now......READY?

1. The bag stays in the cup longer... Unless of course you're American when you don't even bother with a bag or cup and just tip the Tea Cask straight in to the water instead :p:eek::D

Ta for the heads up... I'll give updating Go4 a miss for the next version or two until the fuss has died down and DJI have corrected the answers that they're bound to have managed to get wrong! :D

Ummmm....oh, oh.... I know this one.

Was it because The Three Wise Men forgot to calibrate their compass?
No, they had an IMU exception and lost lock on the only working GPS satellite and went into visual positioning mode following the star instead.. they ended up in Palestine after drifting on their camels in Atti mode for several weeks ;) :p

Now that every found some goodies under the Christmas tree, aka, new flying thing’e. Before you start out, please update your aircraft to the latest firmware and repeat the Quiz again before takeoff. If any issues arise please call or email customer DJI customer support and Merry Christmas to all.

Despite not updating anything recently, Go4 hit me with the Qs today. The three wise men whispered the answers in my ear :D

Frankly, if you can't get them right first time, or at least find the answers on the uk CAA insert that has been included with Dji drones for over a year, then you're so short sighted that you shouldn't be flying in the first place o_O:eek::mad:

As I have already completed the test, I can’t verify if these answers (found on an article about the test) are correct or not ....?

Dunno, the Q&A's where so trivial I wan't really paying that much attention to them ;) :D

And anyway, it's bit silly of someone posting a crib sheet FFS - people can just keep guessing until it lets them through, so all they have to do is start at the beginning (A) and go on until they reach the end (D), then rinse & repeat :p:D:D

So, as well as listing the answers they also give you unlimited guesses?

How to make a pointless quiz even more pointless ... way to go DJI [emoji23]

Well, screenshoted the q's after it asked me again for flying the I2 today. Ran them passed the missus, without any pre-knowledge she managed to get 7 out of 8 right first time.

On that basis, Anyone who wants to fly a drone and managing to flunk it completely doesn't deserve to be flying :(

Any idea whit you had to take the test again?

I fly a Phantom 4 and an Inspire 2 - so I get to do one test for each drone. Test before Christmas was for the P4, one today was for the I2. Buy another drone and get to redo the test

I've also got a feeling that if I go to fly each using Go4 on my phone instead of tablet, then I'll have to redo the test for each drone too (this kind of pointless repetition is why these sort of test/check things get tiring after a while). I really hope DJI tie it back to individual dji accounts and drones... then we'll not have to keep repeating the daft thing over n over again - but at least I can get the wife to sit a few "tests" for me if they get too repetitive ;) :D

Guess it won't be long before it's like those stupid nag screens on some car nav/infotainment systems that demand that you agree to click 'ok' so you know its dangerous to use them while moving every time you turn the ignition on :(....

Ohh that’s going to be annoying as I have an Inspire 1, Inspire 2 and Mavic and use them on three (iPad, iPhone & Crystal Sky) devices.

I hope that does’t mean taking the test 6 times! What a waste of time.

I guess this daftness is more to do with DJI ticking the ‘due diligence’ box than it is to do with any serious attempt at improving safety.

yup. just something to please the politicos so they can stand there and say their mandarins're doing something to sort out the naughty wild west that is the drone world...... Yeeehawww!!

As to all those drones and devices, I'm sure you'll get to know the 'test' inside out.... now repeat after me.... :D
