UK - New drone laws

Have they said whether current PfCO holders will need to register their drones (again) and take the test (again) ?

Also, does the 1km restriction around airports apply to PfCO holders? We have done several jobs in recent years within the boundary of active airports, with cooperation from ATC of course.

The believe is all uas users will need to take the test even PFCO holders as it’s a bare minimum the. PFCO will sit on top of that

Well it does from the standpoint of anything over 250g will require to be registered, this covers you for hobby and any none commercial flight then to be able to receive valuable consideration then PFCO will sit on top of that.

None of this is confirmed but the current believe is even commercial ops will be required to do this.

And the idiots that break the law will continue to do so.
They simply won't register.
Won't take the test.
Continue to fly BVLOS and above 400ft agl.
Nothing will change for the inconsiderate few.............

Same goes for cars etc, minority will carry on not taxing/testing/insuring...law will carry on throwing the book at them - only when they get caught after messing up in some way. So it will be with drones... don't get caught, not an issue, mess up and we'll throw the library at you :rolleyes:

Pay Up! It's not going to change - ether in the US or UK. Follow the rules or not. View attachment 20299

Yup, drones will be worth lotsa money, a highly trusted and respected audit/accounts company says so (o_O:eek:) ... so Gov' numpties think "drones = $£$£Bn's of money = something to tax more of. Oh, and we can claim passengers are safer now too!" Yay... world's a safer place :cool:

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

If I didn't know better I would say you are being both cynical and sarcastic in the same paragraph!
