Yes the write up was not the best but my two "take aways" were the case seems to be very functional. Something I can use for awhile until a hard case that I like comes out.

The second being I was concerned about the aluminum alloy housing interfering with the GPS and compass until I read there is a plastic cover over those components.

I am not a mechanical engineer, but it would seem the hinge points would be the weak link in that type of design given how large the props are (yes the Mavic has them).

I have an S1000+ that has them. They are standard of the industry for heavy lifters. I can live with the quick release but, folding would really be nice.
