US Military bans use of DJI products?

All Contract and/ or Government work use custom applications, not DJI drones. If your plan was to start using DJI drones for contract purposes, you're sadly far behind the curve.

Why is it hard to swallow? This ban is for military applications, not civilian unless you're under contract with teh DoD. I can't blame the DoD for banning Chinese manufactured drones for military functions and over US military installations. This is a matter of national security, something not taken lightly.

Hey, don't misunderstand - I expect our military to take security seriously, and I applaud that. What's "hard to swallow" is my lack of foresight in having invested so heavily in sUAVs from a company that has this cloud looming over it without at least knowing about it first. That's all.

A lot of hooha about nothing. Unless the govmn't hires you to image secure facilities (doubtful) this is a big nothing burger.
