So, I'm wondering how it would look with the trigger held. Since the natural state of the gimbal is to follow movement of the operator, it makes sense that it would move when walking. However, if the trigger is held in, it should hold position regardless of the grip attitude or movement. I think. Will test later today and post back here. My Osmo arrived last night.
I believe that has to do more with my stride rather than the gimbal. DJI Tutorials has actually posted a video on the best way to "walk" with the Osmo. For me...I've noticed that I prefer walking forward in a straight-ish line with the camera panned to the left or right. Side-stepping around an object makes the bouncing even worse, IMO.
