Is it possible to use the DJI Zenmuse X9 Sony E Lens Mount Unit, that was offered for the Ronin 4D, on the X9 8K Air with the Inspire 3?

I would love to use my Sony lenses on the inspire 3. Has anyone tried it?

I'd like to know as well - i used the olympus 12mm lens on my inspire 2 - i loved that lens - i would be keen to know of any wide angle lenses (other than dji) that are compatible with the inspire 3 X9 8k cam.

So I thought about it lately and I came to the conclusion that It will be easier to design custom CNC machined DL bayonet which you replace on your sony-e lens.

Just curious are you not happy from 18mm? Anything wider will probably show the props in frame.

The YouTuber "Make Art You" gave it a go with some 3D prints:

From the description: "Part one of jail breaking the Inspire 2 and 3 to fly Anamorphic Lenses, the Laowa 1.5x Nanomorph and the Sirui Saturn 1.6x Anamorphic lenses. "
That is indeed the title, but nothing in that video shows any lens adapters being used with the Inspire 3. That's something to come later.

Hi niki - comparing images - between my Inspire 2 (with Olympus 12mm M4/3 lens) and Inspire 3 (with DJI 18mm FF lens) - the Olympus is a much better lens.

Hey Mav, 12mm on M4/3 equals to 24mm, that's pretty different FOV and it's more propper to compare it with the 24mm on I3.
Honestly the footage I've seen with the 18mm on I3 is very nice. I don't have the 12mm Oly to compare it with the I3. The best comparsion will be with 9mm on M4/3 but I don't have one. I have LAOWA 7.5mm which equals to 15mm on FF and while it gives amazing wide FOV the edges are devastated by tons of blur and vignette. So far the I3 with it's 18mm gives me the better quality but honestly I've had very few ocasions to use it, I'm sure there will be situations in which some cons will be noticable as it is usual for any lens that sacrafices quality for less weight.

Thanks niki - i'm ok with the image from the dji 18mm lens (for I3) but it's just not as good as the Oly 12mm lens (for I2) that i was using.
