I'm spending more and more time practicing flying and shooting with our Inspire 1. In reading forums and other posts, I'm getting the impression that there is some benefit to shooting in ATTI mode instead of P (GPS control).

Is there a consensus on one mode over the other? I am finding that the footage feels and looks more stable and cinematic when I operate in ATTI mode...with all the minor stresses that creates. (it's like flying on an ice rink) )

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

ATTI is definitely preferred for smooth, dolly style shots. However, if wind is an issue, maybe P is preferred. I find myself shooting in ATTI most of the time when I am trying to achieve a cinematic shot.

Agree, if you want nice smooth shots atti I find is best for me anyways, though I'm certainly not averse to using GPS either, suppose it can be situation dependant
