A turnout more than I expected. Thank you all for coming out and having a good time.

Special thanks to Turbodronepilot for doing the 3 hour trek and helping clean up. You to Eric.

The group milling about.

Part of my goal for the meet is to hopefully educate the public about drones. Great job all.

Drool...

Instead of a Lemonade stand Jordan set up an Inspire rental shop. Pick your poison.

That's how it will look when I fly, if I ever do LOL

OC, if its not too much trouble can you name the pilots in the pics (screen names at least)?

Bay area met up 5/30/15 onboard with turbo..: Keep in mind this is a screen recording and that's what's causing the lag..

Turbo, LOVED your flight!

Questions: I noticed you went to atti mode after take off, then back to gps on landing. Is it not a good practice to take off/land in atti mode?

You were over 2K feet away, no way you could see it, FPV flying?

Edit: And how many gigs did that take up to screen record for 11 mins?

Hey LockMD..
thanks man!!
I take off and land in gps to lesson the chance of a crash ..
Just keeps the i1 more stable. .
believe or or not with my strobe light you can see the i1 at more than twice that distance, but yes I was flying fpv by using the pointer in the radar and the line in the map to find my way home as well as the image on the screen.
Not sure how many gigs the flight took up but I have about 30 flights stored on the hard drive..
probably about time to erase some ..lol..
turbo. .
