Broken x5R gimbal arm. Ugh!

Has anyone sent their X5R in to DJI for repair? I imagine I am not the first (or last) to snap this part. Curious how much they will charge.

Thank you! That sounds a lot better than buying a replacement. I was leary of sending it out and paying for shipping both ways to hear an exhorbatant quote and end up buying one on eBay.

That was (is) the Achilles Heel of the X5/X5R. I had one break after a very mild collision with a tree branch.
I sure hope they learned from this and designed the X5S better.
 
did you send yours in and if so how much did it cost? I Broke mine today and was just curious as to what it will cost me.

$1-150 ish. Unfortunately they’re seem to charge at random.
 
I ended up sending mine in and the total was $323. $195 of that was labor. They must have sent via the “slow boat from China” back from California, but I did get it back good as new with no issues.

Heliarink did you send in the quad, gimbal, and controllers in or just the gimbal and lense?

I had an unfortunate accident.
The X5 RAW camera is broken.
I'm thinking of sending dji service, what are your recommendations?

how much will it cost me?
