Hi, I am a new owner of an Inspire 1. Within a week I have crashed my Inspire despite being very carefull. The carbon boom was broken. A new boom including labour is about € 300 in the Netherlands. So I inquired with several shops which do repair carbon. The price range went from 40 till 180 euro. I brought my drone to Van den Bergh ( surf shop and carbon specialist for bike frames, surf boards) in Zandvoort (Hoorn) for repairing the boom. They did a great job for only € 45,00. There are many shops which repair carbon stuff like bike frames or surf board. See the pics for yourselfs. And it flies like a dream, again!

Good job. I have just completed the exact same repair with a carbon fibre kit inc epoxy resin for £25 off Amazon UK.

Repair is neat and very strong and was done over two wet evenings as each application has to cure for 24 hours.

Kit comes with a metre of carbon fibre so plenty more available if needed in future...hopefully not though

My mishap came after upgrade to firmware and I lost app connection on my hudl. Sticking to iPhone and iPad now which is rock solid. Steve

Beginning to wish I would have done this instead of sending to dji. It has now been 8 weeks and they refuse to provide an update.
Without a doubt the worst customer service from any company I have ever experienced in all my years.

My repair has taken 7 days.
