I prefer a Landing mode case as it allows me to move from location to location without all the hassle of transforming the Inspire. My favourite case so far is the Multirotor Axessories case, unfortunately he only ships to Europe though.

Pelican 1650 case with custom foam from Fuerte Cases. Travel mode for me. I don't like the gimbal bouncing around under the belly of the craft when it's off, and removing the gimbal every time defeats the purpose of avoiding wear and tear. It's worth the slightly lower profile for me to keep the case height lower.

This looks quite nice. Have you ever tried air travel with this case? I'd be curious to know if this will comfortably fit into overhead bins.

This case is large, cargo bay only. I have a custom molded version with $50k of Steadicam gear in it also, and that survives the cargo hold every time. But for overhead bins this is way beyond size restrictions. It has wheels and a beefy pull handle though! Rolls nicely.

Best case ever. Fits both the Inspire and a Phantom at the same time or an Inspire and lots of accessories if you pull the Phantom holder out. Some might say its a bit big but I love it
