I've noticed that it's cumbersome while flying to click and hold a button on the bottom of the RC and spin the gimbal wheel at the same time to turn the camera. Anyone know if there's a way to swap the function of the gimbal wheel to where it controls the spin of the camera instead of the up and down?

Unfortunately there is not a way to do this. The Cendence remote controller has a dial on each side of the remote to control pitch or yaw of the camera without having to press a C1 or C2 button. You may want to practice using other fingers to control features which feels cumbersome also but does work with more practice.

Thanks. What are the other advantages of the Cedence?

A button which clears all the crappy warnings which pollute the screen to name just one. You have dedicated buttons for Aperture, Speed, Exposure Compensation and ISO. And you can program many other buttons to your own preferred function. You have focus knob etc etc. Read the specs and Manual.
