compass @1700. What is yours?

Am seeing 1700 after calibration but forums show 1500 is ideal. What are your max ranges? Does this indicate a hardware / compass issue? Have had a number of flights without issue and system does not warn about compass calibration but I wanted to confirm if any others see higher levels after clean calibration.

Also, is their any connection between compass and IMU. There is conflicting information on forums if IMU calibration affects this compass number.

15 min for the AC and 3 min on the RC..... text files show success on both... that was easy!..... test flight shortly!

My Compass values appear the same after calibrating after the update (hovering around 1510 - 1535(ish).

If you had calibrated values of circa 1500 before (which is optimum) I would try maybe another calibration in a different area.

I use a particular part of my garden which I know has consistently given good calibrations - I see no reason to change.

I DO NOT calibrate when I get to where I am flying unless:

• The app tells me I should
• Compass mod values are outside of 1400-1600
