different between mov and mp4 format?

what is the difference between mov mp4 &, I can choose when I capture video with inspire. can anyone tell me the difference? beautiful pictures, clear and clean videos this inspire giving. very happy, it was bigger than I thought. Inspire1 quietened than phantom two do, when it's in the air.

took video in mov format with duration of 1.51 min, the video was then the 800MB

There isn't a difference. It's just a container. Choose whichever one you would use regularly in post. Mp4 is the more common choice.

Summary:
1. Both MOV and MP4 are lossy formats which sacrifices quality for file size
2. MOV was initially developed by Apple as a file format for QuickTime
3. MOV is the basis for the development of MP4
4. MP4 is the industry standard and has more widespread support than MOV
5. Saving your file to either MOV or MP4 would result in the same video if you use the same codec
