Unfortunately, the issues with the iPad are facts, and I know other guys that never had problems with them, but as you may know better than me, also on the other side, a big crowd complaining about the iPad.

I generally use Map Pilot with an iPad Air2 for collecting images and I can't remember it ever crashing during a mission. The Map Pilot support forum seems quiet on this point as well so I guess most don't have problems...while using Map Pilot anyway.
