I just completed this mod for a customer of mine, This is the mod a lot of us are currently using but here is the different part. Instead of drilling holes in the front of the controller I mounted the new antennas in the old antenna position. It turns out this looks really nice and clean. I did a test flight using my black Inspire Pro and the antenna worked perfectly as it normally does. I have this antenna on all of my birds and love it, the signal stability is much better than the stock as well as distance is greatly improved. I am posting this to see what everyone thinks about this look versus the other where you drill holes in front of the controller. Don't get me wrong I like the other way as well it's just I like to tinker and am always looking to improve function and esthetics.
