End Running The FAA...

Didn't know that Amazon had solved the battery/range/payload puzzle. Wonder how you deliver packages inside a 20 RT battery life. If they have, I'd like to know how, and with what?

I don't think they solved anything yet. They need the feds to authorize their experiments so they can try. It may never work.

PEM fuel cells are one viable option (4-10 hours flight time).

Roaming "flight center" trucks dispatched to service a specific area are another.

Designated local neighborhood drone delivery spots with willing and able neighbors who sign up are one way to service broad areas without worrying about landing on grandmas dog Betsy, etc.

Smart folks over there. They'll make it work.
 
I hope they don't make things worse than waiting for the FAA.
 
A senator taking money from a major corporation??? Never in a million years!
