I'm afraid I am in need of a reset patch for the AC. I have never heard of one.

Double check the contact pins on gimbal to aircraft on the aircraft side (Socket) Be sure that none of them are bent or out of alignment. This can cause firmware update issues as well as many others. See this thread Firmware Update Failure | DJI Inspire Forum
