So I was just trying out the the different high data rate files from prores 4444/422/raw comparing it to the the h.26x files.
I was just shooting indoors under incandescent lighting with ISO around 400, shutter 30 and f/1.7. The prores and raw files seem to have more resolution but also a lot more noise especially in the shadows and dark areas. Theb100mbs h.26x with its compression certainly seems to hide the noise. It loses out on some resolution. What are you guys thoughts?
Definitely will try tomorrow outdoors with better lighting. But honestly, currently I am not that blown away from indoor shots thus far.
