GL658c charging problem > help please

I’m a new member. I’ve own my inspire1 v2.0 since 2019. I’ve ran into my first problem with it and realized that there is a community of fellow inspire1 pilots out there that could be a real source of information and help even at times above what DJI could offer.

My GL658c controller shows one green light, when I hook the DJI charger to it, the lights blink in normal order as always, but the controller want charge pass the one green light.

I tested the controller by flying the drone, it worked fine.

Would I fully de-charge it and try to recharge it to see if that will work?
Finally, what is my odds of a new battery for the controller fixing the problem?

Hi are you sure the charger is good? Does it charge the batteries okay?

You need to open it up and check the battery voltage with a meter. I believe it is a 2 cell Lithium-ion battery, so when fully charged you should get 8 to 8.5 volts. If below, replace the battery.

Charger works good. Got it charging to a full charge again after near fully de-charging it. Not sure why, but it’s fully charging now.
