My cousin in Washington DC has a couple of heavy lift drones built by a drone company for the government. They were prototypes and can lift 25 pounds. The spread across the drone is about 36 inches. Comes with a custom case, remote, laptop and battery charger. The batteries were tossed so it has no batteries. They would like to get $2500 each plus shipping. The original cost to build these was $25 K each. They just want them gone.

Are these drones a working item?
The batteries were tossed so we can’t test them. My understanding is that they were only flown to demonstrate. They were made for the military. I know I could get them working if they were near me. They are in Virginia near DC. The are willing to take offers.

I am located in New Zealand so would have to check freight costs before putting in an offer. Do you have dimensions and weight.
Buying both units would be prudent to act as a back up for parts.

Also what is the number or size of the battery so I can check availability? Thanks.

Do you have a post code for me to get an accurate shipping quote. Thanks.

I have higher resolution photos but I would need to email them. Here is my email address

Each box is 48x48x24 and may weigh as much as 200pounds. Just a guess. You might want to have them crated to protect the cases. The cases are pretty nice. I noticed with the hi resolution photos that there are 8 motors. 2 on each arm
