I2 "carbon fiber" arms?

Are the arms/braces on the I2 actually carbon fiber or just plastic with a carbon fiber overlay pattern?

Just take a hacksaw blade and make a groove in the arm. You will see fibers if it is CF,

I was looking at the pics of several !2's that have crashed and broke the arms off. They look like plastic in the pics.
