Question,

With an Inspire 2, are the GPS coordinates embedded in the image Meta Data? I would think they must, based on the image detail information.

If they are, why do they not import with the image in LightRoom, just like they normally would when taking the image from a cell phone?

Thanks!

Since no one has posted yet, I know the i1 captures that (and altitude) in metadata, so I can't imagine the i2 doesn't. Look at the properties of the image in your OS (Windows or iOS) to make sure the data is there.

Then in Lightroom, I think you have to tell it to read the metadata from the file. I just checked in Lightroom and told it to get the data from the file and it's there.

Home Run Steve! Did not know this. Interesting though, with an image from a cell phone, it automatically reads it. For some reason the images from the I2 or P4P it does not. Thanks!
