I need some assistance. I have two DJI Inspire 1 controllers (model GL658A), neither of which seems to be functioning. I've attempted to update the firmware via USB, but this has been unsuccessful. I've also tried using Assistance 2 with a USB connection from my PC to the controller, but it fails to sync and doesn't acknowledge the connection. Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be? I'm hoping to upgrade or downgrade the controllers so they'll work with my Inspire 1. This is really frustrating!

Drone itself has a blue solid tail light , probably stuck in transport mode .

Your phone doesn't appear to be connected to your remote.

I can't tell if the circled area is a cable head or just something in the background. Assuming that that is a cable head, clearly your phone is not connecting to the remote. It is not uncommon for the USB ports to go bad on these RC's. But I would say highly unlikely since you have TWO remotes doing the same thing. So, in this case I would blame either the cable or the phone. I find that iDevices do much better with DJI offerings than their Android counterparts. Beg, borrow or steal an iPhone and see if you can't establish a connection there. The "canary in the cave" will be the ability to see the RC's firmware version.
