You make a good point. I ordered a hard case as well, however for me this soft case seems ideal. Supposedly Lowepro will release a new drone case in the next few weeks that offers a bit more protection but still leaves the legs outside the case. I would use this case to maybe hike or walk around in town, but never to use as a transportation case.
i only use my backpack as a transport from case to take off point ... when i film locations in Asia and Hawaii there are a lot of hiking to the take off point.. so this backpack is so handy for those circumstances
