Inspire Accessories Discussion (was "Pulled the Trigger")

Update:

Added to the spending spree with

- 4 X 128GB Lexar 633x / UHS-1 microSD cards

- 2 X TSA-certified combination locks for the case for checking it

- 2 X iPad Mini 2 Inspire sunshades

- 1 X 8TB G-Tech thunderbolt external drive array for 4k editing/storage for my MacBook Pro

Great shopping list. I went out yesterday to get a fast SD card. I noted the camera would only support 64GB. Will it really support the 128 GB cards?

Might want to get a refund on those MicroSD's....... Max 64Gb supported

Folks are using them and they work fine. I'm guessing DJI didn't list 128GB as they are fairly new is all.

Several Inspire users confirm using 128GB UHS-I MicroSD works fine : http://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5752

Amazon purchase link is here for those interested: http://amzn.com/B00O1M21H8 Also of interest is a note by a reviewer who compared the performance of this card with the SanDisk, and this Lexar is almost 2X as fast as the SanDisk Ultra. When writing 4K video you probably can't have a fast enough storage medium :)

"PERFORMANCE: This 633X card is rated at 95MB/sec read speed, class 10. And it pretty much delivers on that promise, Using CrystalDiskMark 3 and the supplied USB3 adapter I measured 85 MB/sec. Lexar does admit that "write speeds will be lower", and indeed they were at 41 MB/sec. For comparison a Sandisk Ultra class 10 card I have SanDisk Ultra 16 GB MicroSDHC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-016G-AFFP-A) tested 44MB read and 11MB write in that same USB3 adapter. The Lexar was about twice as fast as Sandisk Ultra."

I can confirm these Lexar 128GB cards work great.
