Inspire Case - Cabin Baggage

waterproofing the bird. I would hate to be half way up a mountain and it to start raining

I used that plastic bag the I1 case came in once, just got caught in a quick shower already landed but fannying around packing the I1 away, it kept it dry.

Many thanks for sharing. I do a lot of hiking and would love to bring my bird. The only issue I see with your solution is the issue of waterproofing the bird. I would hate to be half way up a mountain and it to start raining - having so much of the bird exposed to the elements. I'm not sure how water resistant the I1 is.
I was thinking the exact same thing, I was going to get one of these

(not checked the size on this one) but that should help a fair amount if I'm caught out in a shower. Again not a perfect solution but better than nothing. I really wish DJi or someone would make a specific rucksack/carry on bag for the i1.

Might be worth popping down to your local millets/go outdoors with your laden bag and checking the size you require :)

I'm in Milton Keynes there's a go outdoors just down the road from me, that is a very good idea Mick.
