It turns out that an Inspire 2 does sort of autorotate when descending after losing power due to an erroneous Critical Battery Level Auto Land.

It is still a mess after hitting a tree then the ground.

Back in the early Phantom 1 days (before drone and battery telemetry), "finding a tree to crash in" was a real strategy for me.

Keep in mind this video was recorded over 8 years ago when "droning" was brand new. This was my first quad and I was flying FPV sans telemetry data. As you can imagine, a LOT has changed since recording this video.
