Issue Shipping Batteries

I was trying to ship ThinGlen40's new I2 with 6 batteries to him today. Went to the FedX store and the guy behind the counter said they could not ship that kind of batteries? I said, "What kind of batteries do you mean"? I said the are properly discharged to 30% and in fact FedX shipped them to me. He had no paperwork on battery guidelines... just said NO.

Subsequently, the FedX truck driver loading the truck outside heard that conversation and told me to put the pelican case in a brown box and come back tomorrow when "Jerk" at the counter is not there. When they ask what is in the box say electronic equipment and be done with it. What a hassle

As long as you are shipping ground, there shouldn't be any problem.
But, I usually do not let it known there are batteries in my packages. This sometimes scares un-educated clerks. But, I always ship them via ground.

Day two, back with batteries discharged and pre-packed in unmarked box. Didn't even ask me what was in the box LOL. Done!
