License Glitch?

Flying a job today, and three times toward the end of the shoot I got a red paneled warning that I could not record in the selected file format without a license. So...we have both licenses...didn't think you were even presented with the Cinema DNG or ProRez options if you don't have the license, and we'd been recording in pro-rez all day.

We ended up restart everything and that made it go away, but on our last take we got it once we were in the air and our truck was rolling for the last take, so I alerted the client that this one might come out in H.264 if it was only writing to the SD card.

The file is fine...ProRez 4:4:4.

Anyone ever see this before? Could it be a what got turned on when sort of thing or.....

You have posted this in the 'General Section' - You do not say what airframe/Camera combo you are using but I assume it is an Inspire 2.

This happened to me today. Got the same message.

I2, X5s, Prores.

Just checked and it did not record. Checked to make sure my license was activated on Assistant 2 and it was. Not sure what is going on here.

Actually, I just realized that I had it on CDNG and not Prores, so that was my issue. Sorry.

Nuts...that's scary. I had all sorts of weird stuff going on yesterday. I'd be certain I was in video mode, and just as I looked down to push the red button on the controller to start recording, I could clearly see that Go4 was in Still mode. But when I hit record, the icon changed and the counter started running. ????
