So, on DJI's site....its about to come on.
Streaming Live on YouTube as well if you're like me and have a company that's not quite up on HTML5...lol
I knew it! Phantom 3
The Phantom 3 just announced.
"The most revolutionary quadcopter...yadda yadda yadda"
...guess the Inspire is the poor cousin already...lol
Using the Inspire Controller with a few connections removed from the backside. No BUS or mini-HDMI from the looks of things...
Same capabilities as the Inspire camera as well. 4K and 12mp camera with Lightbridge feed
Any bets on the price point?
I think we'll see it around $1500USD or so...
they're marketing this towards the consumer market as opposed to the "prosumer" market like the Inspire1
That's about what I was thinking.
Improved motors allow for 23minute flight time
GPS stability connects to more satelites...
They're using the DJI Pilot app from the Inspire for control and viewing flight data
They've incorporated the vision monitor sensor system from the Inspire...
Seems a vision + and I1 merge.
That's about the look of things
Live share to Youtube
...I really hope you have a HUGE data plan...lmao
The director software seems interesting, hope it becomes available for the I1 owners.
Hmm... Cheaper than I thought.
Price Points definitely aimed at the consumer market...
Advanced $ 999 (non-4K camera)
Price is OK. IMHO
I agree...would be great, especially if you're doing work for a client.
A good way to show them what they're going to receive.
The live streaming seems to be a little less than stellar...lots of lag...hmmmm....
Not bad for what it's got. I suppose if my I1 took a digger into a lake, I might buy one of these. Im certain that after having an I1, you would miss the rock solid stability, follow mode, unobstructed 360 view, and besides all that, the I1 just looks bad ass.
I think it is nice for the cost. In order to have a back up 4k cam it works. Plus, the laws the FAA are looking at seem to say that a 3+ lb quad will not be able to fly over people legally but a sub 3lb quad can. This will be a key tool for me and make a great addition to my kit. Anyone wanna buy one of two P2V+??
