This was a training exercise. They burned down 3 houses. I shot the whole thing from inside my van with the doors closed, because is was around 0 F.
Local Fire Depts ask me to shoot this.

Cool. Is there any other footage from the exercise? You might try and mix stuff in.
How much actual footage did you shoot to a five minute presentation. How many batteries did you burn through to get the footage?

I agree, like some cuts from a music video or cooking show. It'd look real bad-*** if Snoop Dog was fryin some chicken!
I shot 65 mins and used 3 1/2 batteries. The rest of the video is just more of the same way, but that is what the fire department wanted. They wanted to study how people performed.

Thanx. I can do the math on batteries, but just wanted some good old first hand info.
One suggestion which I have been working on myself... When you turn the craft or move the camera, try to do so in more of a smooth manner. It's easy to video something and when you decide to pan to the right for instance, you knock trim over so hard it almost jerks in a direction.

Nice but too much movement with the camera. The best thing to do is move the camera to a position and leave it for at least 30+ seconds. It gives time to for a persons eye to focus in on what is happening and look around. Easy movements on the gimbal too.
