I crashed my Inspire 1 pretty badly and I don't even know if I can fix it. I know I'll need both arms and probably landing gear also. I might need a new shell and mainframe. Does anyone know if it'd be worth it to even fix itDJI I 7.jpgDJI I 6.jpgDJI I 5.jpgDJI I 4.jpgDJI I 3.jpgDJI I 1.jpgDJI I 2.jpgDJI I.jpg

Do you know when I'll have "Sufficient priveledges" and how I get them?

It could be easier to buy if you find a used one without any accessories, it could be cheaper that way and keep the crashed for parts.
Not sure but there still may be some online stores that still sell i1 parts. Check what google says about.

Ok, thanks for being the first, and possibly the only, helpful responder. I think I'll do that.

I assume that snarky comment is aimed at me since I am the only other contributor to this thread besides niki.

I would suggest you lose the attitude or your membership will be rather short.

I'll respond appropriately to you later when I have time to write a fitting answer.

I agree with Niki, I'd just look for a complete airframe only. I had a similar situation with my inspire and got lucky, no damage... I had just gotten it and knew I had forgotten to set my RTH altitude. The low battery returned home warning went off and there was a giant oak tree in between me and the drone LOL. Through sheer luck and/or stupidity I managed to land it on the neighbors roof with no damage

Sorry about the comment yesterday. As you probably know, I crashed the drone and wasn't in the best of moods. I'm still upset as I found out I'll have to replace the battery also. btw, does anyone have a battery for an Inspire 1 for sale?

I have picked up about three of them on eBay I've been able to pick up about three of them on eBay and they've all worked out great low flight times on them and I generally saved about 75 bucks over new. Good luck and I don't blame you I've had a bad day last week I totally demolished a high-end RC airplane from a battery connection coming loose. I would have been in a bad mood too LOL. Good luck!
