I am having mine hydro-dipped Blue/Silver Carbon Fiber. I had to pop off 5 of my battery covers and send them in, else I am getting a full secondary body kit for the Inspire 1. The only item not covered, like yours, is the camera. You CAN take the camera housing apart, but I heard it was very brittle. Brittle to the point that a few people have damaged the cables during the disassemble process.
Too bad there isn't a How-To on that, for just hearing that has caused me to leave it alone.
Question: did you re-balance your props post-painting?
