Mavic 2 Pro Camera vs the X3?

Been looking around online to see if there are any good breakdowns (on paper and/or real word) comparing these two cameras, but I haven't found any.

I have a shoot coming up and I was exploring the option of taking a Mavic 2 Pro instead of the Inspire 1 with x3 camera. I will be the only operator, so there is no need for a separate person to run camera.

Anyone have constructive thoughts on this?

You did not mention what type of shoot you are going on which could change my comments. You can read the specs for both on these links. The new Mavic 2 Pro has a lot going for it. The specs show it all. The only variable I would be concerned about would be how hard the wind is blowing. I would personally bring both, the I1 as a backup.

One thing is that the I1 gives you that “just barely adequate, maybe” 60mbps codec while the Mavic uses the pretty adequate 100mbps variant.

Add to that the 1” sensor of the Mavic and I’d use the Mavic.
