Need help saving GO App 2.9.1

Can someone please help a dummy? I have 2.9.1 Go app on my Samsung tab that works great no issues and I do not want to upgrade to 3.0. The problem is that I need to temporarily delete it to get Ultimate flight to work. How do I save this version and reinstall it when I want to reinstall the go app?

Search to see if your tablet has the .apk file for 2.9.1 saved somewhere.
If so you can run the 2.9.1 apk file any time to reinstall the app.

Or use app backup & restore...it makes apks from installed apps

ES File Explorer has an "APP" module where you can backup your apps into APKs.
