Just received an email from DJI about joining their Network Of Drone Enthusiasts or NODE.

Anyone joined and found it to be a legitimate effort or is it just a forum for more DJI propaganda?

I have mixed views on this. The more we stand up and defend our industry from yahoos, the more the governments will step in and regulate new laws across the board. However, if we don't do anything, the governments will also step in and regulate the laws.
Perhaps its best to leave well enough alone so the yahoos will be banned from flying everywhere leaving the skies free for commercial pilots, which I believe will happen soon!

I'm all for a user united advocacy group. But by definition, it should not be created and controlled by DJI.
