Welcome, John! @Pixar is out of Iowa (how far are you from Bemidji, MN?)
We have three guys here at Advexure (myself included) that are from around southeast WI and we are there every couple of months (Milwaukee and Sheboygan). In August we are in Bloomington for a law enforcement program for three days and it'd be cool to get a group of pilots together for an afternoon flying, demoing, learning.
We could also introduce you to an I2 pilot in Rush City, MN that flies solely for hobby enjoyment.
I'm sure others from the neighborhood will chime in...safe flying and stay cool, awfully muggy there lately.
